Heres a thing with the Liberal laws of Scandinavia.

This guy who shot 80 odd people; the longest sentence he can be given is 21 years.

I heard that as well.

Whether that law could be changed in the future or not...

These nutters are everywhere in the world. Name me the last year therewasn't a school massacre in America and that has to be the most disfunctional society in the world. We had Dunblane and Workington.

America s easy, anyone can have a gun. Dunblane was more complicated, you could join a shooting club, now you can't, so only coppers and young drug dealers can shoot people and they do.

Where I am, the nutters walked into schools and stabbed kids at will in front of female teachers. Did they change the law?? No, they strung them up and put security on the front gates.

The answer isn't always in litigation, it's in common sense. You can't litigate for nutters, you can only prepare.

I have always thought that the death penalty is wrong. Nobody should have the right to kill any other human being, even in the name of 'justice'. But I can't say I would have been outraged if this particular man had been killed during his arrest.
