From Twitter:

'Poole is a real handful tonight - he's gone up front now Hassan brought off and the summer signing almost burst through again. Good showing.'

Was there tonight with 3 mates and all of us are struggling to remember a third goal for us. It certainly wasn't announced on the PA.

Anyway. Decent performance by a very youthful Pools side, the only senior players being Humphreys, Haslam and Larkin, with new signings Luscombe and Poole playing full games. The rest were youth team players who we were collectively struggling to identify, but who all performed well. Quite impressed with our tall centre midfielder who came on at half time and the rest of the players seemed to be calling George?

Good finish on the turn from Hassan for our first and then a very nice team move finished off by Poole for the second. As I said, I don't remember this third goal but if it was given to Poole then its no less than he deserved, he was the best player on the pitch by a mile - different class. Wasn't at the Barnsley game last night so was a first look at Luscombe who played well and showed some nice touches and decent close control. Seem to remember him knocking it through the legs of one player and then doing a 360 round another.

Oh, and a howler of an open goal miss by their striker after taking it around Rafferty :uhoh:

Location: Just down the road from the Telstar
and two Jordans, sounds a little like George.

Did Okay. Quite slight for a centreback but still won headers. I think he had a bit of a moment when he tried to hoof the ball out of the box and missed it completely but recovered well.

I think we had 4 different players at centre back tonight. Checking the club site it was Johnson and Mellish first half and Baldwin and Hawkins second half.
