The Catholic Club are hosting a charity race night this Saturday (23rd July) in memory of Michael Carr (Cass) who was the caretaker at English Martyrs School, he died from a heart attack whilst at work one morning a coupe of years ago.

Some people on here probably know his son Carzie - who is a massive Pools fan and an ever present in the town end. The first race will be shown at 7.30pm, it's a bit of fun and all for a good cause.

It's £2 entry on the door and the bar prices are very reasonable.

All money raised will go to the British Heart Foundation.

Everyone Welcome.!

I realise the son's nickname is related to his surname, but does he really get called that?

I knew cass and he was good mates with me dad. I seen him shortly before his death down the town, where he had us all in stitches with his patter/jokes. He was a great bloke, always smiling and full of fun, so i'll do me best to attend this.
