Just been watching it and thought to myself..... i wonder how many of that team would get into our current line-up????
How about this for an all star 11!

Dimi, Mckinnon, Nelson, Clark, Barron, Dalton, Boland, Liddle, Honour, Baker, Allon. Subs- Humphries, Brown, Poole (GK),Sweeney, Gibb, (hhmmm!)

Dalton was class on his day, he just didn't work as hard for the team as Honour did back then, or Brown,Liddle, Boland, Monkhouse and Sweeney do now.
For pure skill,shooting and crossing ability Dalton is the best winger I've seen at Pools and there have been some quite skilful players on the flanks for Pools from time to time over the years.

Aye, Dalts was a winger in the truest sense of the word, skillful, pacey and a great crosser, but bone idle as well :grin:
