I suppose you all already know this - Jon Voight is Angelina Jolie's dad. He was also in one of my favourite films - Catch 22.

Agree - he was good in that as well but Catch 22 is one of my all time favourite books.

I most certainly did NOT know that!

Is it 100% or is it like Liv Tyler, who COULD be Steve Tylers, COULD be Todd Rundgren's or COULD be Elvis Costello's Daughter?

Definately 100% Mr Voight's

She looks more like Steve Tylers kid then anyone of the others.......!

I've always though Alanis Morrisette looks like Jools Holland in a wig

Assasssiiiinnooooo!!!!!!!

When I was an aspiring musician we actually persuaded our roadie, Freeway, to sit naked in a tree. True, it's on video somewhere in my house. Including the bit where the woman taking her dog for a walk, inadvertently looked up............

I read Catch 22 while recovering from a operation on a ingrowing toenail in RAF Nocton Hall hospital in 1971. I bet you are all glad you know that fact now.

Whatever happened to Major Major Major Major?

Sorry for the above pressed submit at the wrong time!

This is my favourite extract from Catch-22 - I've always imagined that Groucho Marx plays the part of Yossarian and Chico plays the Doc.

Yossarian: Doc, Doc I want you to ground me
Doc: Don’t start that again.
Yossarian: Doc, I don’t want to fly any more.
Doc: Why?
Yossarian: It’s dangerous.
Doc: . . . . Let’s get out of here.
Yossarian: I’ve flown 35 missions for Christ’s sake.
Doc: Take it easy.
Yossarian: Now that sadistic man is raising them for up to 50. In any other outfit I would have rotated after 25. Doc you’ve got to help me out.
Doc: Look I’m due for rotation myself in a couple of months if . . . if I don’t cause any trouble or break any rules. And one of the rules says I can’t ground anyone just because he asked me to.
Yossarian: Can you ground someone who’s crazy?
Doc: Of course, I have to. There’s a rule that says I have to ground any one who’s crazy.
Yossarian: I’m crazy.
Doc: Who says so?
Yossarian: Ask anybody. Ask Nately, McWatt . . . .Hey Orr, tell him.
Orr: Tell him what?
Yossarian: I’m crazy.
Orr: He’s crazy Doc. He won’t fly with me. I’d take good care of him but he won’t. He’s crazy all right.
Yossarian: There you are. That’s proof isn’t it? They all think I’m crazy.
Doc: They’re crazy.
Yossarian: So why don’t you ground them?
Doc: Why don’t they ask me to ground them?
Yossarian: Because they’re crazy that’s why.
Doc: Of course they’re crazy I’ve just told you that. You can’t let crazy people decide whether you’re crazy or not, can you?
Yossarian: Is Orr crazy?
Doc: Of course he is. He has to be crazy to keep flying after all the close calls he’s had.
Yossarian: Then why can’t you ground him?
Doc: I can but first he has to ask me.
Yossarian: That’s all he has to do to be grounded?
Doc: That’s all.
Yossarian: And you can ground him?
Doc: No. Then I can not ground him . . . There’s a catch.
Yossarian: A catch?
Doc: Sure, Catch-22. Anyone who wants to get out of combat isn’t really crazy, so I can’t ground him.
Yossarian: Okay. Let me see if I get this straight. In order to be grounded I’ve got to be crazy. And I must be crazy to keep flying. But if I ask to be grounded that means I’m not crazy anymore and I have to keep flying.
Doc: You’ve got it. That’s Catch-22.
Yossarian: That’s some catch that Catch-22.
Doc: It’s the best there is.
