She's probably saying something like..."Although I'm Hartlepool born-and-bred I tell people I'm from Gosforth, because it sounds better."

Aye, I have far too many relations, big Catholic family y'see!

Any Ritchies, Watsons or Dunns in Hartlepool are all mine! rolfl rolfl

Alex's Dad, my Uncle John, was the Manager of BBC Cleveland for years, that's how she got into the media and I didn't.

To be honest I hadn't any idea she was from the town normally the Mail dredges some connection from anyone who has vaguely passed through the town but this one must have slipped the net

Apart from the great goal, the real highlight is the 'we're gonna win the league' chant from behind that goal. Excellent.

Thing I found funny about their supporters bar was that they had a load of Premiership shirts on the wall, all unsigned and unframed and from the 96-98 seasons, meaning they are not old enough to be retro, but old enough to be piss cheap on Ebay.

Also they still had the Christmas decorations up, and still had banners on the wall from seemingly every function they've had in there.

Must have been left up since Christmas '05 then!

Going to be a great day, even though Stockport is a bit dodgy and we're going to have some toe-to-toe. I reckon there might be a few cans shared that day!
