It is wind, though, isn't it? But perhaps not woodwind, because it's , er, brass.

Does/did anyone know someone called Alex Hand from Hartlepool who specialised in benefit fraud by day and spent his evenings round the clubs playing jazz. He always seemed quite comfortable with this constant catastrophic role switching

Yeah I met one of those once, used to wait outside the girls houses to see how many nights their boyfriends stayed. I wasn't one of the boyfriends, I met him in a pub. Lonely sort of chap, the kind who used to pull the wings off Daddy Long Legs and bleach the cat.
