I know what you mean, I find this franchise thing very tiresome. The bloke turned up for a bit of banter and gets malevolent abuse. He didn't personally make the decision to move Wimbledon and as he obviously lives in MK he's taken the opportunity to get behind what is now his local club.

Another thing, if you go back far enough you can lay the same accusations on the majority of clubs.

he 'might' have a conveniant excuse, but I severely doubt it

as for it turning into rivals.....I prefer the place Pools only, and I've not disguised the fact that I dont really like the walsall mob, I dont like sarf - sorry sarf! [and all the other lo-iqs]- and I dont like this chump. now I know outta spite these will continue to piss me off now, buts life/football kev. irrelevant can always ban em..... :grin:

Fair enough, but the welcome I've had from other poolies has been outstanding and it's a privilege to post here. For the record we have Poolies, Forest, Everton and a selection of other fans on uts. I've been careful to portray walsall in a slapstick way (not that that is hard at the moment) despite the agony our slide.

If I've caused offence to anyone on this thread then I apologise but I have a problem with any football team being eaten up by commercialism and spat out in a different location. I hope fans of other clubs are wheeling out the same accusations towards this monster in 100 years time if that helps protect the loyal fan from a similar fate......
