Got a new charger for me laptop as the other is buggered, but the laptop itself is being a bit weird, i've got to fiddle with the wire and position it in a certain place just to get it to charge.

Is this fixable or is there like internal problems with wiring or summit that cant be resolved?

Probably need a new motherboard for your laptop to fix the problem. Dont you have more than 1 usb port? Be cheaper to get a new laptop than replace the motherboard imo.

Its going to be the connector on the motherboard. All depends on how handy you are with the soldering iron.
You can get most connectors for laptop motherboards for between 15-25 quid. Problems is you have to take
the motherboard out to do it so its a fairly long process to strip the laptop down. Basically if you can get the motherboard out
you just unsolder the old jack and re-solder the new one back on. Some laptops you dont even have to solder you just buy the connector
and the wire to re-connect back onto the motherboard.
Its one of the most common issues with laptops i prolly do a 4 or 5 a month.
