Fantastic achievements by both of them. two very loyal, and at times pathetically under-rated players by the so called experts on the various message boards.

I hope they both break every record going. Great stuff.

I fully concur! In an age when loyalty counts for nowt in football, these lads are a shining example of the RIGHT way to be a pro footballer.

A quick check shows that Humphreys has spent the equivalent of 440 ninety minute matches on the pitch (ignoring all stoppage time). I have no data for Moore but, given that he played in an era before substitutes, his figure will be close to the full 472.

You'll have take account of extra time and additional/injury time as well

Dont forget penalty shoot outs.

And the time spent on the pitch at the end applauding the fans, of which Humphreys and Sweeney do a lot more than most.

isn't that the reason the big man has had so many minutes on the pitch in the first place?

And dont forget Ritchies guitar palying on poolie pride, and the time he spent in ASDA signing copies of the cd's.

Mind you, arent we supposed to hate him because of that?

Congratulations to both players. Here's hoping we defeat MK Dons tomorrow as a way of toasting their success.
