What's all this about Geoff Lilley (councillor for Greatham) being arrested for insulting a fellow councillor on the net? Always been a bit fiery has Geoff......

He made coments on that High Tax Hartlepool forum, the one that constantly slags off The Mayor, Radio Hartlepool and Hartlepool United FC and it's supporters.

Well, I expect all that will come under 'other offences to be considered'.

He used to be a municipal gardner, then drove a number 6 bus before the real mr number 6 took over

That forum is aka the whingers forum, Saying guff like we shouldnt have a football club. Then constant digs at Drummond (Rightful or not) some of them are pretty personal.

indeed you could start a thread entitled " contents of my coat pocket " and then list everything in your coat pocket, and within 10 minutes some cnt would tell you the things are not in your coat pocket at all,

That's something I remember, from growing up in Hartlepool. You'd say something totally innocuous and someone listening would be bound to start glowering at you and say,'Eh, no, you didn't.'
It doesn't seem to happen anywhere else....

This is the same council who are selling properties well below the alleged market value,to a local organisation which has councillors working there.

Uncle Ken should employ a few councillors at the Vic- the council might sell the ground to IOR for the price they've offered then.

I've been on about the hospital and interchange, but went on originally about Pools and some of the posters idea to turn the Vic into a park ( I kid you not) and move the club up to Brenda Road ... there weren't many of us contesting their view that football and it's supporters were undesirable. Like all forums, there are some things I agree with and most I shake my head at.

love the way they refer to the mayor as "drumbolini" like it's some kind of brilliant, biting, wit, rather than something even an 8 year old in the school playground would be faintly embarrassed to use.
