Any Bunker lads work at Orange, who are interested in sorting me a Friends and Family rate for me. Got two Monthly contracts up for upgrade, and fancy IPhones, and don't want to get lashed up!!

What's wrong with working at Orange like?

I only have one F&F code left for this year, it's going to the missus for her upgrade in a month or so.

Yloop,

If you can't answer this on the forum I understand but is there any way I can end my orange contract early? It is not due to end until March 2012 but I fancy a blackberry or iphone before my upgrade is due.

Probably not mate, you have to have a persistent problem and numerous replacements before they'll consider changing you and even then it's to a level alternative. The only real option is to pay it up in full.

Oh well, I am only paying around £20 a month but I am too tight to pay the price for a new phone without a contract. I shall just suck it up and wait.

Cheers anyway.

If your contract ends in march they usually let you upgrade 3 months early so December will be the time to start looking.

iPhone 5 will be out towards summer so it might be worth you waiting anyway, might get an iPhone 4 ebay bargain when it does.

You will get a free iphone 3gs for that on a 24month contract, depending who your currently with of course, should get you around 300mins, unlimited texts and internet.

I might try that later in the year, though I fell out with phones for you about 6 years back when they were billing me for an O2 contract via singlepoint and the bills were coming in at double my useage.

If you're moving to iphone have a look at the 3 network. There is an offer on properly unlimited data for £40 a month. That plus your 3000 minutes and billions of texts.

I might look into the phones 4u thing but I generally don't like them, mobile phones is one of the only things I have ever had better service from people in a call centre than a physical shop with.

I know what you mean about smart phones being out but it is a sod trying to check emails on my current bad boy.

singlepoint is a long and very boring story. they went busto and nobody was able to get access to the customers contracts. dont even get me started.

phones 4 u are a pack of out and out cut-throat cnts. for that reason all the networks bend over backwards for them, and they get daft sums for signing up new customers.

they may well pay off the £240 left on your contract if they could then pass you onto 3 as a brand new customer taking out a 2 year contract @ £40 a month, as there would probably be profit in it for them, and 3 are desperate for customers.

as it happens smart phones are so uncool its untrue. the hip cat about town is now using a retro phone, old school style. i just brought my nokia e65 back into the game. he's one bad boi mofo.

I had one of the a few year ago Chip, nice phone.
