Referee was a wanker, must have been about 8 yellow cards in what wasnt a dirty game (apart from their lad blatantly kicking Flinders but he only got booked!!)

Flinders didnt have a testing shot to save.

Goal came from a free kick on half way line, their defenders missed it and sweeney volleyed home acrobatically from about 8 yards.

Haslam was steady at the back but passing going forward left a lot to be desired.

Hartley is a class act.

Larkins chance came from a long ball from Flinders i think, he got past 2 men to reach ball, knocked it round one, blistered past him, cut in on goal and great save from keeper denied a brilliant goal.

First half wasnt great and quite even but second half was all us, they never looked like threatening till we scored and had 7 up front. Had a great period where we played the ball on the floor and looked great and the crowd didnt half get behind them for it. Some great spells of pressure and in the end we got our rewards.

I fully agree, in the first half it was more like tennis with the hoofball, later in the second half we started playing and Colchester had no reply.

I hope that referee's next shite is a hedgehog.
