This wont bring the crowds back, and it will most certainly make a few more of the diehards think twice, we should have tried a bit harder to get a few people in and shipped the deadwood out to the non league etc. Yes i know there is emergency loans but I am sorry i like mick but he is only the caretaker we need a proper manager and we are only papering over the cracks.

The thing is I cant see the crowds flocking back when they see results like this.
With 3 home games in a row, if the same pattern continues we could see our first sub 2000 crowd of home support this season.

From soccerbase - our strikers form in recent years in league games...

Adam Boyd ------------ 29 starts (21 sub) - 8 goals THIS SPELL!

Arman Bjornnson --------13 starts (21 sub) - 3 goals

Denis Behan -------------22 starts (16 sub) - 6 goals

James Brown ------------108 starts (30 sub) - 27 goals.

Michael Mackay ----------19 starts (30 sub) - 7 goals

Yantono ------------------5 starts (4 subs) - 0 goals

Who would you pick - is there a winning combination there?

You missed Larkin and Greulich (who I think may be out on loan).

the run of poor results is worrying but the way one or two people are going on you would think we were bottom of the league. we aren't and plenty of teams would happily swap places with us.

if we win at home on saturday we will almost certainly move into the top half of the table.

I love your optimism chip.

Chip i love your optimism and i wish i could share it, but i dont having seen pools for over 20 years and being a season ticket holder, this is the first year that i have had no enthusiam. The last game against notts county was nearly my first that i walked out it was that dire. I know others that wont go back even if sir alex (spit) was in charge, which is a big shame. Things are dire and we need changes,

Brown will never be a striker as long as he has a hole in his arse. He doesnt want the ball with his back to goal, it doesnt suit him at all. He needs to be on the right wing where he gets some space and can run at people.

In my opinion to play the lone striker role you need to be big, powerful and have presence. (especially useful with the balls Horwood knocks over) So i am struggling a bit with the signing of Donaldson who again by all accounts doesnt look like a striker. Maybe in a front two he will be good but i doubt he is impressed coming here to play on his own in a position that he hasnt played for 3 years.

Mick Wadsworth is as about as popular at the moment than the President of Egypt.

If this bad form continues, then maybe fans will be calling for Mick Wadsworth's resignation.

When is he going to realise that 4-5-1 is not working?

would you rather have 34 points with 20 games to play, 12 of them at home, or say be in swindons position on 30 points with 18 games to play, and 10 of them away. if you think our form is bad look at theirs.

or perhaps you would prefer to be in walsalls position on 23 points with 19 to play ?

its a tough league where all bar a handful of teams will have a bad run.

Mick Wadsworth is a fantastic bloke personally, but this run of form only proves that he is not the Messiah.

Well, why don't we get some cheap quality goods in then?

The League's transfer window doesn't shut until March.

As for whether I'm joking: when Wadsworth won Manager of the Month, we were all saying how wonderful Wadsworth was.

Now, although a very few amount of people have criticised Wadsworth, nobody has really defended Wadsworth.

Come on Chip what sort of argument is that? Have you got your hands on your hip whilst putting your tongue out.

We should have beaten Dagenham, and Bristol ffs who are shocking and beaten Lee Hughes....i mean Notts . If we had we'd have 7 more points we'd be ok with life.

what part of which games have we lost lately are you struggling with like ?

Nice try but you will agree that when you draw you get 1 point and 3 for a win and we have drawn 2 very winnable games in addition to the Daggers defeat. Have a day off mate!
