I saw that.

But in the Sunday Mirror it said that it had been a Newcastle fan that had punched Laird.

With all of the cameras that would have been there it was a pretty stupid thing to do, he will surely get caught and prosecuted for it

Down here the local reports are it was a drunk "home" supporter who asked this player for a shirt but got refused so decided to punch him!
