First off i never expected anything. Hard game 2 days before and going to be missing 3 of our more inluential players.

A weird game really thought we had a stone wall penalty turned down when there guy fell down and handballed it. Another shite ref, but we had chances to score but didnt test their keeper enough. 3-0 was unfair but like i said above it was always gonna be a struggle. Missed Collins badly in my opinion. Thought Ince looked rather good!!

As i expected shouts of "your fucking shit Bjornnson" as he was subbed on. Great help that

Also heard "what the fuck is he doing bringing Boyd and Bjorrson on? They are shit" Im not quite sure what he expected to to do with the shite squad Tubby left us? sctatchinghead

Also couldnt find anywhere to eat as every pub we went in said they aint doing hot food cos its a bank holiday. There must be some logic there somewhere? sctatchinghead

Also nearly went in home end as home turnstiles say "away fans only" Thats clever.

We DID go in the home end in the "away fans only" turnstile and then had to ask the stewards to let us in the away section. He said loads of pools fans did the same!

..Thought their fan's were a friendly bunch today....saw no trouble and had a pint in The Globe pre-match with a good atmosphere. That was a definite penalty early on to us...right in front of the linesman ....bottleless tvvat.

I thought we shaded the first half, should have had a blatant penalty, Sweens put one just over the bar. I thought Richie did quite well in trying to link up with the midfield in his lone striker role given that we did pump quite a lot of long balls up for him to contest. It was all very predictable.

Second half we did very little. They found a lot of room on their right wing and goals 2 and 3, both good finishes, came from that route.

On the basis of today we will miss big Sam when we play against big centre forwards. They put a number of quality free kicks into the box and we looked vulnerable. The ease with which they exploited the right wind was worrying. Today plan B was worse than plan A.

I could'nt really understand why we took Gamble off, I thought he had a reasonable game, and when he went off we just seemed to have a group of defenders and a group of attackers getting in each others way, with a huge chasm in the middle of the park. For me Brown should've come on at half-time, and why did we persistently go for the Humps long throw when it did'nt create anything throughout, it was too predictable.

The main thing from today is how we come back from this defeat - agree stonewall penalty - and had radio on on way home - had two of their players on - they were asked about the foul on Austin for their first goal - he said spoke to him after the goal about him blocking the keeper. Isn't that a foul then? He was then asked about having three pools players around him - his reply - he'd heard them discussing him - and one player told another to smash him!! As if we'd do that!!

We all payed in the home end, I went straight into the pie queue (as is my wont!!) to notice that nearly every one was in black and white!

Good effort a home fans area with 'away supporters only' on the turnstyle!!

Sorry guys will pass these comments onto those in power at Notts. At least we are a friendly bunch who would only have got upset if you pushed in to the Pie queue.

Agree about taking Gamble off being an odd one. The guy aint played much, surely he cant have been knackered?

Strange thing was that I didn't really try. I paid my daughter and her mate in and was given three £14 tickets.

I'm hoping it was a family ticket thing or a cock up rather than him assuming I qualified as an OAP!
