Extremely disappointing....hope not too many Yeovil fans have to travel back. They would have been out and about early.

This could be a blessing in disguise. If we get a decent draw for the third round, that means a better gate for the replay, which being a mid week night match will hardly be appealing to the fans of Yeovil or the team probably.

I still don't see why they wanted the snow shifting yesterday instead of just doing it this morning

I've not helped out at Pools to shift snow for a while but I remember it being very time consuming...

The actual pitch would have been playable if all the snow could have been cleared from it. It was fairly soft once the snow had been cleared, the problem was there was still a fair bit to clear.

Half the rink end goal mouth and most of the town end, along with some of the pitch as well. take into account a lot would have had to be cleared further away from the side lines, where it had been pushed to just past them, so throw in's could be taken there was no other option. The terracing was as good as clear so I don't think there would have been a problem there.

Problem was although quite a few volunteers doing their best there simply wasn't enough in the time to get all the snow off.

We didn't even get a hot drink, long story email sent. Some youth team out and about 20-30 volunteers with Dave and couple more ground staff I would reckon.

Believe it or not the free ticket isn't an issue with me, Yes it would have been nice and I would have accepted it, but that wasn't the reason I went, I wanted the game to be on. But you would have thought because of the day, and it snowed fairly heavy at times that hot drinks would have been provided.

Im not saying for a second it was the reason you went but its the least id expect to be honest.

To not provide hot drinks which would have cost pennies is out of order in my opinion.

They only had 8 snow shovels. what were the rest doing?
Were they working in 3`s or 4`s like a plough or in singles?
