I think anyone wanting to offer help would offer it to the club, not a message board. Still, if you enjoy imagining thousands of shovel bearing Loids marching up to the Echo Chamber to clear the snow in time for a match that might get you above a mid-table position in the conference if you win it where's the harm? Careful not to dribble when the nurse brings your tea.

We've got sausage heaters for the foot long hot dogs, the 'sausage type heaters' are a different matter.

As you have all the plumbing but no boiler for the undersoil heating I'd suggest you neck a few pickled eggs, jump about to mix them with the meths, then fart up the pipes and get one of your chums to light it. It will be just as effective as your 'sausage type heaters', unless the pipes are all blocked with corpses from the plague of worms that afflicted your playing surface in a Tremors like nightmare when you still had league status. If they are blocked you'll get your ring badly burned but that would keep you out of your computer chair for a few days so lots of people would be happy.

I will probably be wrong (and who am i to doubt our groundstaff who do a fantastic job) but I always thought you were meant to leave the layer of snow on until the day of the game to insulate the pitch and help stop it freezing.

Mind, my record of keeping plants alive aint too hot

I was on my own until 2 young lads turned up at 12, fresh outta bed and then 2 others who had finished work about half hour later.

There were 4 grounds staff, the security manager, the internet dude and a young tracksuited lad, must admit the communication wasn`t the best and working methods will never set the world alight but got it done by 2.45, the fresh snow didn`t settle and the last of the snow was mushy towards the end.

Mick and Humps turned up about 1.45, said thanks and we were eavesdropping their chat with the head groundsman, apparently he has received a letter of apology from last weks ref

They may need people tomorow depending on the snow tonight, ring at 9 and ask and free ticket if you help out, just off to the bath to soak my aching bones!
