he played against us a couple of times for bristol city the year they beat us in the play-off semi finals.

he was hardly prolific for them ( 8 goals in 50 odd games ) and that was in a winning side. just sent a text to a mate who works at boro. according to him miller is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is, and has a proper attitude.

should suit his new manager.

All decent strikers have an attitude it's called being a winner although they usually play against us so we call them c@nts here in Hartlepool.

I don't trust any of your mates after the bollocks they spouted about Flinders :coool:

if he was that decent surely he would be getting a game for a team in the championship relegation zone ?

i would probably get 20 goals a season in the scottish leagues.

Maybe so Chip but they all seem to by pass us for some reason and go south? or they dont want to come here not sure which or why? sctatchinghead it cant always be money can it surley especially with the younger players sctatchinghead

As for flinders I agree I prefer Kean sorry Scotty bbolt

do you think flinders is good enough to play in the championship ? i think he has done alright but i feel a lot more confident in our defence with kean in goal.

Largely irrelevant, were Pools in the Championship when you were telling all and sundry that he was going to be the worst signing since Adie Mike? sctatchinghead

Scott Flinders is a good keeper. He did little wrong in my view, except having to play behind a dodgy defence. Its time to get behind Scott as Kean wont be here for much longer.

oh dear. are they encouraging you to be ecconomic with the truth in this new job of yours.

i said our hollis godfather is a journo who covers palace for the papers, and he told me flinders was promising, but very error prone while he played for them and made a series of howlers.

he was one of our better players last season and deffo one of the best of turners signings..

Yes I'm the one being economic with the truth.

At the time your mate said 'nice lad, fooking awful goalkeeper.' and now it has become 'flinders was promising, but very error prone while he played for them and made a series of howlers'

Not much difference there.

'Taylor bought him for a lot of money and he was awful. He will definitely be better for you, but his confidence was shot at Palace. He let in an average of over three a game at one stage.'

Struggling to find where he said he was promising but I'll keep digging :coool:
