Well done today old boy Mick W.
Murray restored to passing the ball in centre mid and clearly getting the best out of Sweeney. MW will try his level best to sign Poole in the summer on a free.
As a Kentish Poolie I tuned into BBC radio Suusex live commentary and they were full of praise for MW's tactics. They felt he choked the midfield. Silly media didn't realise he has been doing it all season because of our striking limitations.

MW is stitching together a purse, maybe of rough leather with Hartley & Collins strong and industrial at the back, but it is a purse that will not fall apart at the seams.

Well done MW, the team - that was a vital 3 points with Orient, the Daggers and Tranmere all winning. It is going to be tigth all season down the bottom of this league and a win is better than two consecutive draws!

clappp Agree - and everything he has been saying lately was put into practise today. And for 95 minutes.

If in doudt - put it out - we did
Play to the whistle - we did
Don't let them bully you - we didn't
Don't drop deep - we didn't

Brown played well, and lasted longer than i expected. Murray awesome in front of the back 4. Sweeney all over the place - good tactical sub McSweeney to help Austin with LuaLua - and it worked. Austin finally quietened him.

No man of match - a whole team performance from the 11 who started, to the subs to the coaching staff.

And if all else fails - deck the lino!! So funny when Wads gave the lino a Barnsley kiss!! Surprised it ain't been mentioned yet!!

I know the keeper made a few handling errors but the save with his leg in the first half was outstanding

No Man Of The Match ? I thought Murray was absolutely first class & that little roll of the ball under the foot & turn ( edge of our box - first half ? ) was a stroke of genius ! we play much better when he's in the team. Pleased to see James Brown back but I thought he struggled a bit today. Not surprising when he's been out for so long. Great performance all round though. Good to see some meaty challenges going in !

Murray's Zidane turn was brilliant, as was his display. Cracking signing. MW showed his tactical nous today and completely outthought Mr moaning twat Poyet.

By no man of match - I mean that everyone played their part.
Agree Murray was excellent - back in his best position.
Probably one of Collins best games for us.Monkey was much improved today. Glad he did well - his body language showed how gutted he was by his mistake mid week. Could list something positive abaout every player today and it would be a shame to single just one out.

Great comments boys - I like you lot think only Murray really can pass ot feet in the team so consistenly. Hope he keeps fit for 85 minutes per match - best old man we have signed since................................................. well John McPhail!

Agree with the point that there was no man of the match. The whole team was excellent, really difficult to single out any one performer. That said, I think the return of Murray to the midfield was crucial, looked a lot better than last week with him in the team.
