It may be bullshit but someone told me he went into the probation office and threatened to set himself on fire. He had doused himself in parafin, which doesn't ignite. I can just imagine him wearing the flint down on his lighter, gettign increasingly desperate.

I don't know if that was the offence he got sent down for, as I think he was up for other things as well.
