oops, sorry Mutley, didn't see this in your hour of need.
Are you still spelked? If so, boil up a cabbage leaf for 2 mins in a tiny amount of water. Then remove the cabbage and hold it over the spelk while it's as hot as you can bear. The spelk will then work its way out tho you may need two or three attempts.

(If you'd told Walsallmom it was a splinter she'd have been able to help. 'Spelk' is Hartlepudlian)

Oh right I was wondering too.

Heat a needle until it's red hot and then prize the bugger out OR leave it for a week or two and then it will come out on it's own.....unless it's a bee sting where it will work it's way into the body cavity and pupate into Paul Merson :evil:

Get a plaster put some soap on it sprinkle some sugar on the soap put the plaster on you're finger over the spelk and I'll guarantee that it will out when you wake up in the morning
