Read in national newspaper a man got lost off the Pools coast in a canoe.
Saved by ringing his wife, on his mobile, to alert the coastguards.
2 questions; Who takes their mobile canoeing? Or was it just a desoerate bid for fame?

4.. Why waste time phoning your wife to phone the coastguard, why not just dial 999 yourself it cuts out the middle man so to speak.....
