That is the type of the club the Premiership has created, almost franchises who exist due to outside money.

About 20 bigger and more traditional football clubs play in League One. We have digs at the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds when they drop down to our level but they do in fairness remain big football clubs, if that happened to Wigan they’d be like Darlo stumbling around an empty concrete bowl.
