I think he was the one who did the lad in on the pier - name just sticks in me mind.....the other two were the woman with the fag who was babysitting and the 'baghead' who did the stabbing in troutpool

Shatanawi (i Know he been mentioned) but i separated from ex wife while he was awaiting trial went to the council to find somewhere to live. They give me a list of properties ,top of the list was one owned by him in Thornton Street, jokingly said I could probably get away without paying rent as he wouldnt be able to collect it.Woman asked why ,when i told her,she took list away and removd his name.

Apparently so.......

A MIDLAND father was due in court today charged with the murder of his wife, whose body has not yet been found.

K. *****, 30, from Darlaston, near Walsall, was charged with the murder of 21-year-old L. ***** after officers spent more than 24 hours quizzing him.
He was due to appear before Walsall magistrates later today.

Quizzing him for 24 hours!......

'What's the capital of Albania?'
'Name the first team to win the football league three times'
'What's the main export of Brazil?'
'Who was the first man to climb K2?'
'When was the battle of Agincourt?'

I think I'd confess

I remember being told a joke about that at the time, around July 1977, I remember because I was in London for a resettlement course before coming out of the RAF.

Whats Blue and Hangs down drains, answer the aforementioned lady.

She was killed on a Saturday night on her way to meet the older bloke that you mention. She worked at the Abbey National on York Road.

Was it Hutchinson who murdered someone near Sheffield.
Was on the run for a while and got court in a field just west of Owton Manor.
About 1983!

The first one I remember was Louis Bloom a prominent member of the Jewish community and a solicitor. He killed the daughter of a lady called Wainwright who I believe may have been mayoress and a magistrate. He was only found guilty of manslaughter and later in life became town clerk at Sunderland.
Also I remember Raymond Orley killed a girl on the docks, Kenny Bates murdered someone in a house in Studley Rd which is where Susan Turner (Dale) was found murdered in a house which was been demolished. Her husband ‘Bluey’ Turner was charged with her murder but found not guilty.

If anybody gets drunk and starts screaming in my office it's usually me. On those grounds I think killing people for that sort of thing is bang out of order.

Áh OK I thought there must have been something more topical.
There were ol course the two young c°°°s who can't be named that tortured and killed Angela Wrightson in 2014. Surely they are old enough now for us to know a little bit more about them and who raised them.

Or maybe they were the couple more you were thinking about?

He was hiding out under the bridge at Dalton Piercy for a while. I was playing out as s kid with some mates when he jumped out from some trees and proceeded to demonstrate how he could kill me with a stick.

Just thought he was an 'effing wierdo till I read about the manhunt and capture.
Didn't the press label him as the fox or something.

The press sensationalised Arthur naming him the fox, saying he was a black belt in judo and had self survival skills was a load of rubbish. He had been on the run and typical Manor lad came back to the Brierton quarry area to hide out.
