At yeovil we completely dominated the game with just Boydy up front. I heard a long interview with their manager afterwards and he said that they tried several things to get back into the game and only came anywhere near when they switched their formation to match ours. The last 20 -25 minutes they got back into the game and had slightly more of the attacks than us but luckily for us due to some woeful passing and crap finishing were never going to score.
Boydy did well up front I thought and ran around alot more than I expected going from my sisters description of him being fat, slow and lazy, I think she is wrong and I thought he played the role very well.
Browny looked great if a little Wright-Phillips like ( is the final pass or trick going to pay off after several great bits of play).
Monky played really well in left midfield and supporting up front but didnt look as proficiant as Boydy when he became the 1 upfront for the last 20 or how ever long it was. His strike for the second was dead crisply taken.
Sweens ran and ran and spoiled loads as well as supporting the front as much if not more than anyone, he was given lots of freedom for this by The other two in mid who both played well.
Both of our fullbacks did very solid defending jobs and their passes out and distribution was 100% better than the yeokels two and their sub fb.
Sam looked very strong and dominant and got involved chesting the ball back nicely for Browny/Monks for our 2nd.
Lidds played well especially cutting out a lot of their attempts at penetrating our back line with good anticipation.
Flinders did what was required holding a number of strong shots which were towards him. His kicks out in the last 10 minutes were all too long bringing gthe ball straight back.
We sat back in midfield for the last 20 but I'm not sure if this was their impetus or our tiredness/indiscipline.

We were by far the better team.

Was Fredriksen as bad in his time on the pitch as it sounded on the radio?

No, he put himself about a bit, I dont mean hard man like just scampering around the middle. His first touch was a little average but he usually made the second even though he was then under pressure and stretching to keep possesion which he pretty much managed. Not too bad.
He didnt look from that bit of the game like he should replace any of the starters, far from it, but ok.
