if true, as bad as the story about that student who bet 4 grand in play on the team who were winning 4-0 after 75 minutes during the African Nations Cup, but ended up drawing 4-4. He stood to win about 20 quid or something daft.

I have zero luck at betting anyway and my little losing run in the bookies at the start of the year has stopped me doing it!!! Even Mutley is better at it than I am!!!

I like a good sing song on my way home but I don't think the neighbours always appreciate it

Chip if he had layed 28 quid on 0 corners at 500's wouldn't he have lost another 14k rather than covered his original loss

I presume Chip meant he placed a bet of £28 for 0 corners at 500 to 1, which would have won him £14k.

edit: not quick enough.

Sorry to harp on, but if you generally cover all your bets how do you ever win anything?

Why not just make a smaller bet in the first place.

Oh! incase you hadnt guessed I am not a big gambler.

Is it so you can tell your mates you won 14k and omit the bit about losing 14k?

I think the idea is you don't cover all your bets, just the ones that look to be going tits up.

If 0 corners in a match had never previously happened in a Premiershit match, isn't that the nearest thing you can get to a 'sure thing' in the betting world?
