Ok he's resigned and gone. Lets not go to deeply into character assasination. The man is a decent bloke and has done his best. Yes he failed but there there is no shame in that.

I think we all have a lot of time for Chris Turner, the man. He's done a lot for the club and helped kick off the IOR regime. As for him as a manager, he's tried his best but it hasn't quite worked.

I wish him well for whatever he does next.

I'm more worried about the goings on in the background at pools

Hearing Russ Green has left also?

Agreed. There was no doubting his commitment to the club, thanks for your efforts CT and best wishes for the future.

Am shocked! I never thought much of him as a manager but id rather he was still at the club in some capacity.

He turned Pools around in his his first spell here, no one can disagree with that. This time around it just never worked. But as Mr I said a decent bloke whi has Pools at heart.

The timing of this news is strange. Why resign 3 games into a new season? Either way good luck Chris, both in and out of football.

Turner did an excellent job first time around, however his record after he left Pools was shocking, and unfortunately carried on in the same vein once he took over first team duties. I wish him well in whatever he does but am mighty relieved he has gone.

I'l second that POK.
The man bled blue and white and I hope he is as successful in his next job as he was in his 1st spell here.

We are still a League One so it could have gone worse.

I think it's a bit churlish to not wish him well because results weren't great in his second spell, you only had to look at him in tears at Brentford last game of last season to see it wasn't for a lack of trying.

Chris Turner a legend at pools what a crock of shiteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. He left us last time taking three of our best players for free. Then came back signed twelve players most of who are shiteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee AND PUT THEM ON TWO YEAR CONTRACTS let a player who was banned play for the club that nearley got us relegated. Lets see were Mr Turner ends up i hope it with egg on his face. Forgive me if i dont shed a tear at his departure. At least i can now go back to Pools.

And if Mick Wadsworth 'fails' in the same manner, will you stop going once again?

Has Wadsworth done any of the above mentioned to Pools ? So if Wadsworth is named as manager and fails it will not stop me going. A rather large person with a pig ignorant attitude did that.
