First half absolutley awesome, second half guessing we tired because we put some work in that first half but the amount of times we went back to the hoofball of last season was embarrasing. Even when we had time on the ball we were hoofing it up to the 'big' man up front.

Good to hear that, they are strongly tipped to do well so at the end of the season this might look like a good point.

A good point against a good side. I though Swindon were much better than last season and to be honest I thought they shaded the first half too, but we took what few chances we had. In the second half they got two more strikers on the pitch and switched to 4-3-3. We were more under the cosh and defended deeper, leaving us with little outlet beyond clearing our lines. It will be better if/when we get Boyd and Brown fit enough to give us 90 minutes. But a good point today.

You are talking out of your arse if you think Swindon shaded the first half. Apart from a Flinders block outside the box they did very little. In the first half every time we went forward we looked dangerous. We were a bit naive and when Swindon switched formation we should of done the same to keep them back, by not changing anything we just invited the attacks. We also took our 2 best players off way too early.....

I usually agree with you Mad John but Swindon couldnt get out of their half in the first 45minutes. We absolutley dominated them.

Taking brown off meant that Haslam had 2 to deal with because McSweeny didn`t track back like Brown and with defending so deep they had the midfield to themselves, great first half though and we looked a decent outfit.

Sweeney deserved man of the match for me clappp

Got to disagree about both full backs doing decent jobs. Horwood had a decent game but I thought Haslam was tortured all game, granted he was playing against one of the quickest wingers ive ever seen, O'brien could give him 5 yards start and still easily beat him, but Haslam didnt try anything to stop this, he just stood off him and invited him to run at him, now i know he was probably frightened to leave space for him to run into but i reckon after his first run he should of got tight and give him a couple of nice strong tackles!!!

Everytime their left winger got the ball he looked dangerous and went past Haslam, i also can't remember going forward too much either which for me means Haslam didn't have a very good game. As for Horwood i thought he had a decent game in both halves of the field and was very unlucky with his shot in he first half.

That is why i disagree about both full backs having decent games

Their left winger was quick and beat Haslam a couple of times but he had no end product and nothing came from his attacks.
