Sweeney really was outstanding, i've never known a player run as much as he does.

Was going to try and pick out the best performers, but that would be harsh on the rest. A very good, high energy team performance. They only had one shot didnt they, in the last minute?

We were outstanding from front to back, never gave them time on the ball and chased everything.

What happened to Sweeney?!! Has the signing of Murray made the difference?

having gamble & murray to defend just leaves him to run around a lot, which he does brilliantly!

Very much the Sweeney of old, just need him to do it consistantly and score a few goals too

That's what Sweeney did best tonight, getting behind their defence beating the offside trap.
All in all a great fighting performance and a great goal line clearence from monkhouse in the last minute.

I was well impressed they were brilliant, couldnt name a mom because they all tried so hard. Liked the way they came out early at half time and Ritchie had them running around. Well done lads keep it up and show those who had written us off.

We were excellent tonight I thought, Liddle and Collins outstanding although everyone gave their all. Only 1890 Pool's fans in the crowd of 2520 though, pity there was'nt more there to see it.
