Yes, piece of piss. In fact it was probably easier to get to Asda today than it is most other Sundays.
Cheers MJ

I took the dog over the Headland for a walk today and there were thousands of folks there - let alone how many were at the Marina area and the promenade to Seaton etc, which have been swarmed with folks as well

I liked it a lot. You got no soul, chip, if you don't like ships.

We had no trouble parking at all...just parked where we always do on match days, but some friends didn't have such a happy experience. They got stuck on a 'Park and Ride' bus because of a parade, and couldn't get back to their car for ages. Just the sort of thing that makes people say they won't come next time.

Must say i was bored shitless. The boats around garlands area and marina were utter pointless. They werent ships and they werent tall. The were just pointless. (plus the empty cases of Fosters outside each one wasnt the best impression)

The ones towards the headland were better but I must admit i was expecting more ships like the Trincomalee etc.

Nothing impressive there but my strawberry tropical calippo was nice.

Oh and the steam train comng into the station at 2.20pm was more impressive than all of it.

 It was very impressive and the amount of people stood over the bridge waiting 30minutes for it was amazing. A true piece of history rather than some modern boat.
