That terrible foul on Austin that was deemed worthy of just a yellow card by the ref means that he will now have to have X-Rays.

I haven't the incident but it pisses me off when people get red cards for swearing or lame challenges but when players get genuinely hurt the ref quite often seems to bottle it.

What was even more amazing - the ref had to speak to the linesman BEFORE deciding toshow the yellow card - if ever there was an automatuc red - this was it - and shame on those Rochdale fans who jeered and booed Austin as he limped past them

To be fair, it sounded like they were taunting the somewhat rotund guys (paramedics? St Johns Ambulance?) who had ambled across the pitch after the stretcher, and who were just ahead of Austin as he hobbled round.....

They were chanting "soft as shit" to his as he went past their stand.
