Feet are fooking killing after walking over there.

Best to leave pushchairs at home too.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of taking my Granddad down there tomorrow. With him being in a wheelchair, could possibly be in for a rough time. He also likes the odd drink or two and this more often than not results in extremely severe foul and offensive language. He also scratches himself a lot down there.

Almost forgot to ask, did you enjoy yourseld today?

To be honest mate i was only there about 30-40 mins if that.

I had a pimms and lemonade (£3.50) and then a burger (£4.00), then me and the mrs struggled to walk about there for a bit, taking turns trying with the pushchair, then give up.

I managed with the pushchair no bother, we only took it because we knew it was going to be busy so it was better to have the littleun in the pushchair. We had a good 4 hours or so down there and had a fully enjoyable afternoon

We parked in the Millhouse car park around 11ish and was surprised and how empty it was, we were even more surprised to see that it was just as empty when we got back to the car at around half 3 ish.

I reckon Pools missed a trick by not offering their car park, they could have made a few quid.

Had a great day today. Parked outside me mam's just off Cleveland Road, and walked into the 'Tall Ships Village', after giving emergency directions to Salty to find the Victoria Arms, we spent 4 hours making our way through to the marvellous new bus interchange. After a brief rest in King Johns, we did the return in another 2 hours. I'm now having difficulty walking.

A bit disappointed with the music tonight, a couple of more lively bands wouldn't have gone amiss. Pretty sparse round the main stage although I'm sure there'll be more there for OCS tomorrow night.
Decent organisation but if the council are hoping to make a killing on the park and ride they are going to be very disappointed.

Maybe it will fill up later like when the tall ships crew filters over.

I'm sure you'll find compensation in every disappointment.

..went down last night and there was a good atmosphere. The firework display was excellent. Had a couple of pints of Black Sheep from the beer tent while watching one of the groups.

Good mix of food outlets from every part of Europe and beyond - the smell was enticing. Even buffalo and venison burgers. The smell of the hog roasts.....
