I think you mean this rumour. If it is a takeover football will be reinvented and HUFC will play in the World Premier leagues 2nd tier, sadly the Universal ultima league will still retain all the big TV and sponsorship money, but the clubs will all be owned by Nigerians Called Boris who made their cash from email scams and now select their team from a laptop in Laos.

That sounds better than the premier league, more open, much less predictable and marginally less corrupt (allegedly). Where do Sepp Blatter and his FIFA cronies fit into the scheme?

People might be getting confused, although it's all only rumour anyway, so why not speculate on a takeover instead!

My opinion? There isn't going to be a takeover. There might be a "cash injection" but if there is it won't be on the scale that some people are speculating (i.e. multi-millions for players) but might be enough to pay the council's asking price for the ground and build a new stand.
