I agree with the first post, i was never Hartley's greatest fan last year, but i really enjoyed reading that. Its that kind of talk that fans like to hear, and whilst reading that for the first time i started looking forward to next year. Come on Pools clappp

As I said in previous post the positives are now falling into place(it took a while and I wont go there).

I had been told that the players were really enjoying training and that each day was interesting and different from anything most had previously encountered.

Boyd is said to be lean as F*** and had been training hard all close season.

The positives from players like Hartley are now starting to outweigh the previous negative thoughts I had,

Fetish "OPTIMISTIC" Bob

Simply little news reports like this on the official site perks everyone up, and if it doesn't who cares the optimistic on the board, which I am the un-elected Chairman of will put our points over far better than the negative posters. rolfl

Grave is my un-elected Vice Chairman.

Its a coup you join or get Shot down........ rolfl rolfl rolfl

Join the official OPTIMISTIC POSTERS GROUP, you know it makes sense....... clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp

Playing devils advocate this could also be taken as “Last year the players weren’t too impressed by pre season, or training in general”

We did hear whispers about certain players not being happy about work on the training ground.

What's the matter with you, have you suffered a head injury?

For what's it's worth I preferred you when everyone and everything was a ''lovely lovely person''.

There were rumours doing the rounds toward's the end of last season of "alleged" bullying / harassment etc of some players by certain members of the coaching staff who shall remain nameless but who appear to have left their position at the club.

what does it matter who hired him? People are allowed to make mistakes.

The same person got shot and has put things in place to improve the training & fitness.

Whether it makes a difference or not is another matter.

In fairness Turner would be struggling if he wasn't allowed to make mistakes!!

Mistakes he tends to do well.

Yeah, and judging by the condition of the cubicle doors in the Millhouse bogs, one of the ball boys doubled as the club joiner too.

I must admit to thinking exactly the same when reading it. Players rarely rave about training in such a manner.

However its a nice article and gives some cause for optimism. I just wish Turner would learn to talk the team 'up' too.

If the players are happy training under Wadsworth then it should help fitness work (I dont think our players fitness levels were good enough last season, compared to other teams anyway) ps, what a fat knacker wadsworth has turned into, he makes tubby look like skeletor in that photo  .

Cant wait until the first pre-season game. Things are taking shape slowly but surely. clappp
