Good stuff, especially for those that don't like to go to the Dongs on principle

Very happy its the day I come back from New York so would have been able to go, even though just up the road. Can watch it in the local now.

No money for us though as its away from home. Wonder whether we'll get them at the Vic this season.

hope I'm wrong as it'd be a nice little boost but I thought only the home team got the TV money, to compensate them from a potentially reduced attendence.

Maybe its only the cup competitions....

(though we do get the big lump sum that all clubs in the league get)

I was planning to go to this as we had a good weekend last year, might stay at home now and waste the money on more beer.

About time they started showing us on the TV.

I hope we can put on an entertaining display for the punters watching at home.

We don't have a great record of winning games live on TV.

True, it's a shame the public don't know how good we really are.

We are a well kept secret the small crowds are really part of some very clever marketing to and make sure we support little clubs like Sunderland, newcastle and Middlesbrough by forcing more local people to go and watch their premiershite fayre, while serving up high quality football (that even Kaka and Messi aspire to one day be able to become part of) with the outward appearance of a perennial lower league struggler.
