You all know I thought we could win this World Cup, so I not going into today's game as such.

But...Why did we lose it ???????

late on the commentator said something along the lines of

"we know Lampard, Gerard, Rooney Terry can do it, they do it every week in the Premiership."

Maybe the problem is most of the opposition know how they do it every week in the Premiership. Due to the number of foreigners playing in that league every week as well

This World Cup consisted of 32 teams, including England. each team could name 23 players in their squad.

That means 32 x 23 so a total of 736players now take off England's squad of 23. so a total of 713 players.

How many players played at this World Cup who play in the premiership.

Including the England player's it was 172 take of England's 23 that's 149 players from 31 national teams playing against our player's every week ...almost 5 players each side.

Maybe the reason we don't compete is that every team we may come across has someone with inside information.

They off top of my head.......So am I racist or is it fact, the Premiership now has to many foreigners.

Even the so called "small" teams of the Premiership bring in so called internationals instead of risking an English player from the lower leagues.

We will soon be the equivalent of Scotland.

No because before the invasion of the premiershite by the darkies and wogs and french, we've done virtually fook all in 44 years


And like I said before, the premiership isn't even the best league in the UK

Or it could be because the English football players and overpaid, shite and arent arsed as long as they pickup their hefty paycheck each and every week.

Maybe over them 44 years the influx of foreign players has resulted in a worse England team.

I would happily bet that within the 20 teams in the Premiership last season there was something like 600 give or take 40/50 each way registered to those teams. and more than 60 different countries were represented.

3 countries per team would be about right in my reckoning.

We've just been dicked by the Germans and they all play in Germany. The only reason any player has played outside their own home league in the past and now, even more so, is to earn more money! Do you think all those overpaid foreigners come to the premiership to learn new skills or that Gazza, Linaker, Platt etc when to Italy to learn how to shoot! It was for the money!

Before the premiershite was the gravy train all the money was in Italy and they imported players. What's their record in the last 5 world cups?

There were a fair number of Scots, Welsh and Irishmen playing in our leagues at that time. In footballing terms those lads are foreigners surely cos they couldn't play for England.
I am not using foreigners playing in this country as an excuse for England's performances but there were plenty around our top teams in the 1970's if by foreigners we mean players ineligible to play for England.

Ok let's get rid of half the first team squad-

James, Johnson, A Cole,Lennon, Wright- Phillips, Defoe, Heskey ,Ferdinand, & so on.

Face it dimwit -we live in a multi-cultural society & we have movement of trade & employment.

We played shyte as a team because we didn't play a team & we stuck to a 4-4-2 when we should have changed it.

By your logic Pools shouldn't employ any foriegners or "darkies "either.

So, no Ambrose Fogarty, no Tony Parry, no Joel Porter, no Dimi Konstantopolous, no Jan Ove Pedersen,
no Chris Westwood, no Lenny Johnrose etc etc.

let's stick to the likes of Skeddy only cos' they're homegrown & see where that get's us.

Apart from Cole, thats not a bad start. Mind you, theres a good few white players I'd chuck out too.

A couple of things


Don't refer to me as 'son', I am older then you ergo I can't be your 'son'

Secondly, the references to players form overseas was a tounge in cheek dig at our right wing friends on this board

That doesn't distract from the fact the reliance on overseas players hasn't helped, just look at the SPL, it has knackered Scottish footy, and this was started by Souness bringing in players from abroad
