We might as well just give up now then Jeff, we couldn't possibly hope to beat teams in our own division.

As much as I love Jeff, he has attended about as many games under the Turner regime as Yubep so I would take his comments with a pinch of salt.

Its not the first time Jeff has pretty much just echoed one of Turners soundbites. He clearly has no opinion of his own and to be honest as was stated above, he doesnt attend games so will be brainwashed by turners comical aftermatch interviews.

Cheers for the publicity you give us jeff, but please beggar off from trying to bullshiit us too.

Nothing new there, Stelling is Mandelson to Turner's Blair. He always, absolutely always sings the party line.

it's in his best interests to praise the club in all levels, after all they wont invite him up to do presentation nights n so on if he's booting off about turner and the players.

He has given Hartlepool the kind of postive publicity other lower league teams could only dream of

So what if he doesn't call Turner a c_unt

He may not be paid by the club but he clearly as yupeb states has ties with the club and continually echoes Turners craic to keep in favour with the club. That imo makes him a 'yes man'.

Hope that helps.

Ssshhhh.

You can't say that.

They won't be able to cope with that thought, you'll blow a circuit in their tiny minds.

There are loads on this board who haven't been to 'Pools since Bardiff or have jacked it in recently, but we still have to listen to their ill informed diatribe

Some of the comments in this thread are pathetic.

Jeff has done more for Pools than you moaning negative whingers ever will. So what if he hasn't been to a match since Cardiff. He was also a fan of Danny Wilson, which he got slated for (by the same group of whingers who were singing his praises last year no doubt!)

What difference does it make if he's pro Chris Turner? Will it honestly affect anything in your lives? If the answer to that is yes, then I think you need to have a look at what is going on in your lives.

The man has the chance to talk to millions every week on tv. Every week he praises Hartlepool United. Maybe he should start slating us on Sport Saturday and Countdown and send us back to the good old days when we were a complete laughing stock.

You honestly could not make it up!

agreed, he's done loads for Hartlepool's publicity. he's so popular i think that other north east fans will now take more interest in Hartlepool and who knows maybe that has or will result in a few more faces at Victoria Park. Chris Turner supporter or not thats only a good thing.
