Who do you fancy for the first round , Peterborough will do me as I can see the ground from my house .But other than that would be nice to get M/boro and turn them over.

Derby, bring young Nigel to where his dad started his great managerial career.

A local derby against the Borer would be nice - especially as we would probably win

Boro would be the one I'd be happiest with. Home or Away not fussed but I can't remember us playing against them in any competition and am not sure when the last time was.

Notts County, Port Vale and Shrewsbury in the Southern half of the draw, but Peterborough in the northern half? This is why the seeding system is wan-k.

Played them in 1986 in the League Cup. 2 legs, drew 1-1 at home and lost 2-0 away. Sir Roy Hogan scored our goal.

I knew we would have played them at some point, I was 6 in 1986 and barely knew who pools were.

I have absolutely no memory of being drawn against the Boro in 86. sctatchinghead

We'd been married 3 years at that point, and our oldest would have been 8 months old, but I can't understand why I can not remember a thing about our only competitive matches against them! But there are probably several hundred other games I definitely attended, which I also can't remember. First signs of Alzheimers?

there were only about 1500 at the home leg, and 3,000 odd at Ayresome Park. Boro's first 2 games of that season were at the Vic

If you start thinking it's a Mickey Mouse competition, you'll start treating it as one.
