We've got a keeper who is at least as good as him.

Hope that helps.

Yes, and which one of our fringe keepers will be putting pressure on him next season?

I would say hes too good to be playing second fiddle to anyone at a level below the championship.

Coventry's Aidy Boothroyd obviously does'nt think so as only 3rd choice there at best.

Thing is L.S. if you want to kick on you need strength in depth, at the mo' the only cover we currently have for Flinders, should he get injured, is young Thomas who has'nt played a first team game, and an untried kid just signed from Guisboro', who used to play for Horden........hmmm.

unfortunately we don't have the finances to have two top goalkeepers at the club, so Dimi would never have been a viable option.

We have always had a main keeper and a young backup, ever since i can remember anyway.

I'd much rather we spent any spare lowwer on a decent striker.
