Regardless of what you think about the bloke who helped to bring in the national minimum wage, family & wage tax credits and pumped billions into the schools and NHS, comparing him to a party who murdered millions of Jews, gypsies and poles, is a bit unfair

I have a feeling that before the life of this Parliament is very much older people like Prescott will be very much missed.
I have no time for unelected assemblies like the house of Lords but Prescott is a commoner and if we are to have the upper chamber in its present form I would prefer him to some hereditary, former public schoolboy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, with a bottle alley accent.
Oh and I like Jaguars as well. :grin:
