Pundit would be Andy Gray, no question. I'd hit him with said lump hammer until it broke.

Former footballer you say? There'd be loads if I really gave it some thought, but one that springs immediately to mind is Ian Wright. I'd punch him until my arm fell off. Then, using my other arm, I'd pick up the afforementioned detatched limb, and begin to then bludgeon him with it.

dear chip, can your next hot topic be " Which football pundit could you happily spend all day hitting over the head with a lump hammer."

so there you folks, feel free to post your comments.

in fact why not go a step further and state " Which former footballer could you happily spend all day hitting over the head with a lump hammer."

martin gray, david hodgson, and former brentford keeper stuart nelson would be my top 3.

Steve Claridge, Steve Claridge and John Motson

Nationally I'd go for Claridge and Gray, locally for Jeff Winter and footballers would include Elphick, Betsy, Hughes and from the past the dirty Ron Greener from Darlo.
There are more.

Chris Waddle, stupidest accent i have ever heard and doesn't have a clue about anything.

I watched a game he was co-commentating on and he claimed there was a hand ball, the slow-motion replay proved it blatantly hit the chest, yet the stubborn prick still argued that he was right.

Tony Cottee cos' his irritating cockney drawl aggravates the life outa' me, and anyone who they ask an opinion from who only knows six words in English, and therefore state the bleedin obvious.

IE:- "was strong per-form-ance from team today, we create lot of chance, we move on from here, only get better, team was good, keep it tight, I kick ball today with my foot, I breathe in then breathe out, very happy"
