if it stays like this and Pools lose 3 points, we are 5th bottom above Tranmere on goal difference. They will win and if Pools lose and Pools will go down. Nailed on defeat next week at Brentford let's be honest. Does Turner even realise we are in the shite? Well Mr Fireball's assertions that people are idiots fro saying Pools will go down, are not looking so clever themselves right now
If we go down after next week's match, then Turner will need very good personal security down there when he boards the team bus

thank f-uck for that. Exeter now back in trouble - hopefully Pools won't lose more than 1 point and that's it. However it looks like it will be 3 for all the world

Huddersfield could still go up if Swindon draw with Millwall next week, and if Charlton and Leeds both lose!!! So Hudds WILL be going all out at Exeter next week, cos they will be thinking - you never know!!!!!

Grasping at straws comes to mind there mate.

What you need for Huddersfield to find 2nd is......

Leeds to lose at home to Bristol Rovers

Charlton to lose away to Oldham which as Oldham now below us you don't want (you never know league may say it their fault and not deduct any points)

Millwall and Swindon to draw thier game(which as you said is against each other)

Huddersfield to make up a 5 goal deficit on Leeds

All possible, but what odds do you want.... rolfl

well if we get 3 points deducted then i think were up that nasty smelling creek without a paddle.

only saving grace is Exeter will have to beat Huddersfield, a draw won't be enough....but as you've seen today, when other teams NEEDED to get a win......

Oldham are safe so it makes no difference Bob... but that shouldn't affect how Huddersfield now approach Saturday's game
The facts are it is in our interests for them to be wanting to really put Exeter to the sword
We could be safe by half time if they are 3 up down there regardless!!!!

huddersfield scored a 95th minute goal today and it just might be the difference between us staying up or not. If they hadn't got it they would be going into the last game with nowt to play for. As it is they scored it and still have an outside chance of Auto promotion, so yes they will probably go for it.

Lets hope the football league are very nice and allow us to go into next saturday without a care in the world!

Even if Huddersfield couldn't make automaticpromotion theywould surely want to win anyway to finish higher up the playoffs to get second leg at home and avoid Leeds if they don't get auto too

agree with that - I read on the Exeter boards they think Hudders might take it easy to avoid injuries etc but even if there's a slim chance of auto promotion then they will be going for it big style surely.
Exeter are very defensive and Hudders really attack teams so at least in theory most of that game will be played in Exeter's half of the pitch. Exeter certainly don't look like a team who could easily score 2 or 3 so I'm hoping a couple of goals for Hudds will be enough.

A very good question; I don't see the lads enough so keep my thoughts to myself. Parmo has a whole thread here on what he expects based on how we're performing. I suspect he knows about as much as I do.

I've seen enough footy over the years to suggest anything could happen Saturday.
I think we'll get a result so this points deduction thing won't matter.
Mind, I'm sure there's people read this board would love us to be relegated and the bad thing is they are not darlo fans:):)

Did anyone notice that the officials wore different attire for the second half after I berated the lino at the townend just as Exeter scored. The lurid pink top clashed with the red of the Exeter shirts.
