No doubt MR I and Mr Ripper will have already spotted this, but Harry Walter Mitty Shithead rage mentions Pools in his column today: http://www.guardian.co.uk/global/blog/2 ... n-football

I read it in my Guardian which I of course have delivered every day along with the Morning Star.

It's a good article innit.

I think that's the second or third time he's mentioned Pools in the column in the last few months. The question is who is his Pools supporting mate and does he post on here?

Have to confess Harry is a mate of mine, I used to live near him in Northumberland and got to know him after our better halfs met in the maternity ward. I was impressed to find out that the tall bloke next to the other bed had written my favourite ever football book.

He's remarkably nice for a smoggy and genuinely enjoys his trips to Pools, probably came to four or five a season until I moved and left him liftless. He loves his football and I think he probably watches us and Carlisle more than Boro as well as taking in a few non league matches when he can.
