There's been at least two interviews with CT in the Hartlepool Mail saying how he's going to strengthen the squad for next season. Sound's like he is going to stay on as manager or at least buy the players for the next one. Is that going to be West? What experienced manager would come in in those circumstances.

Ever thought that the title doesn't in any way match the content of the post?

I'll explain. After months of CT bashing and now a banner at the Vic the CT out posters have gone quiet. I would have thought the articles in the Mail (whether you believe them or not) quoting CT suggest that he's not going anywhere or at least will have a big influence on next season. Therefore I suggest the Turner Out brigade are in denial of this. Does that answer your question?

I don't see why resigning yerself to the fact that Turner will apparently be here forever can be described as being in denial.
IOR want him here so, until I'm in a position to buy the club, I have to accept that. There's no point in beating meself up about it.
I don't hate him though.

As I, and many others have said, his record at this level is appalling. It's going to take a lot of turning round to alter that view, but I wish him well simply because I wish the club well. Something drastic has to happen, be it either a improvement in Turner's record or his end as manager.

He hasn't driven me away yet, unlike others, but he has come mighty close.

He may mean by strengthen the squad, sign O'Donovan, keep Jones and get shot of some of the shite him and Danny Wilson had left us with. This surely would make it a better prospect for any Manager job hunting over the summer.

He wants new players from Boro, Blunderland and the Barcodes: see Skysports report

I still want him out. He failed this season with a resonably good side. I dare say any manager with half an idea would of put that team into the top 10.

Wow new signings, erm how many tries at that did you get this season...?

Sorry, same old tosh, i wont be back full time until he is replaced.

Failed?

Let's see where we finish in the final league table before we make those pronouncements eh.

Lets get this right, we were saved with the emergency/high cost loan signing of O'Donovan.

Saved?

Emergency?

We're the only team in this league with a loan player and we got special permission to sign him?

Jesus wept.

And who brought him in again, granted I want Tubby gone as much as the next man but the signings of Flinders O'Donavan, Gamble Austin cannot be knocked.

Of course they can, by the one-eyed critics.

In their little world Turner is evil and every signing he makes is rubbish.

And then when he's signed them he makes them even more rubbish.

And he eats babies.

I'm no fan of Turner as his team selection, tactics and substitutions have been illogical at times, however he and the team have come together when it matters. I don't think Ken Hodcroft will want to get rid of him as it will cost money.

If CT is in charge next season are supporters going to stay away or are they going to accept it and get behind the team?

i will go to games home and away for the first couple of months and take it from there.

if its the same crap they have served up for the majority of this season then i may vote with my feet.

if it gets better i may buy myself a half season ticket for xmas.

i certainly want to see a massive improvement away from home next season whoever is in charge.

But are you in the Nile, chip?

while I will be buying a season ticket, the answer by chip is what I expect the vast majority to do.
