The first pair of 8 eyelet Cherry Red Dr.Martens came out in England April 1960!!!! :coool:

I think I've got 6 or 7 pairs at the moment....incl.a pair from about 1970....(which are a little too small for me but no way will I get rid and I wear on special occasions :coool:

I....with an heavy heart....threw out about 9 pair sometime last year!!!! sadx

Over the years I reckon I've owned about 25/30 odd pairs....Shoes and Boots!!!! :grin:

I often pine for me oxblood hightops and Ben Sherman shirt combo, smart as a carrot. Anyone remember those red jumpers with a big white star on em', ........still worn by older Barnsley fan's.

Out about the same time as them jumpers with dragons on them were'nt they? ..only available at market stalls :grin:
