Someone (can't remember who) mentioned to me a few weeks ago how we always play better when Browny is in the squad. He had looked at the times when he had been out injured, and we have performed badly, only to pick up again when he's fit. It seemed to make sense to me.

I'm just about to have me tea, so if someone could look at Madjohn's site and and reach a conclusion in the next half hour, I'd be very grateful.

he runs at people, this gets the crowd excited, which makes them sing more and be generally more positive. This, in turn, helps the players relax and become more confident.

No need to check the excellent ITMC.

He is a very exciting forward player and when he's playing upfront he creates lots for other attacking players. Hopefully he will continue to be picked as a striker and NOT a winger.

The thought of Brown Boyd and Marodonavan at pools is quite exciting.

Theres no doubt about it if we could keep O donovan and have Brown and Boydy fit, we will have a much better season and it will be a lot more entertaining to watch. If only Bjonson, Mackay, Behan and Larkin were all out of contract in the summer, i'd quite happily scatter the lot of them and use the wages to put a good offer on the table for O donovan. We'd still have the likes of young Greulich, coming through (without has beens blocking young players progress) and there'd also be the loan system should we need it. If only things were that simple.
