It's time for Mr Chris Turner's ridiculous quote of the weeeeek!!!!

From today’s Northern Echo;

"For an away team to get a goal in front they don't have to attack any more do they? They can sit back and hold the lead"

*Cough* What about when we took the lead at Exeter, Brighton, Huddersfield, Carlisle, Southend (2-0!!), Leeds and Southampton Chris? Seven times, one point. We've thrown away more leads than a Korean butcher.

It's really got to a stage were he should just stop talking.

You forget that in most of those and the norwich game we were the small team trying to beat the mighty, and obviously the lads tried but got no luck.

We were magnificent for the 20 seconds we held the lead, we didn't have to attack any more did we? We just sat back and soaked it up.

Just remember though, after each of those demoralising defeats, "the lad's were hurting in there".

defeat tomorrow and it's curtains I'm afraid.
A win puts a whole new complexion on proceedings - but with this fat loser in charge I don't hold out much (if any) hope of an away win for the rest of the season, never mind at a relegation rival's ground

Defeat in both this weekend's games will make it very hard to avoid the drop. I reckon we could get away with nothing from tomorrow's game but defeat to Brighton isn't acceptable as far as I'm concerned. Unless of course we beat Orient :wink:

well they surprised (nay shocked) me today.
Now they've given themselves a shot in the arm, surely this is a signal to kick on (and definitely not get beat again on Monday)!!!!!!!

As you've pointed out in the last few weeks pal, Brighton have a good away record. So we need to be at our best. I'm sure we will be :razz:
