Why lower league fans hate the Premiership.

On one hand a small club like Stockport maybe going out of business and premiership sides getting another £7.5 million and the champions making £60 million.

Think this sums it all up:

"Screwed by the greed of the Premier League, which refused to share its television income with the other three divisions when it formed in 1992 and broke away from the rest of the league.

Which thought only of lining its own pockets rather than the wider football community and the smaller clubs woven into the fabric of their towns. Since 1992, lower league clubs have fallen into insolvency 53 times"

Also dont you feel sorry for them, with regard to football I like the below quote, investment into grassroots, yeah becasuse the Premier League love giving away money:

"Bodies representing rugby, football and cricket - which rely on lucrative TV rights deals - fear the proposals will mean less money going into sport and will impact their ability to invest in grassroots participation.

A spokesperson for the English Premier League said it was "very disappointed" and was studying the findings carefully"

Premier clubs should be made to put a small amount into the coffers of the small clubs as thats were most of their players have come from at some point not asking too much is it

Hardly any players in the Premiership have come from the lower leagues

It just doesn't happen anymore

That's another problem. Money doesn't filter down through the transfer system as much as it used to.
Lower league clubs ( Crewe being a perfect example) used to find, nurture and then sell on their youngsters. Now a player who reaches 24 and is out of contract just moves on.

The third and fourth divisions will die out as we know them.

Mind you, I'm just as much to blame in helping the gap get bigger as I buy sky tv.
