POK you are spot on, sort of, I’d rather read your positive slant at the moment to be honest. He’s been a very good player for Pools for years and an ultimate professional throughout. He will remain for years to come one of my favourite ever Pools players.

Grave why not show some of the great goals the lad has scored for Pools?

He's past his best now, he shouldn’t be featuring, but the constant digs at him on here are getting tiresome. I can see why loads of people have stopped contributing.

I think we all need to take a step back because it's getting embarrassing.

one of the best players i ever seen at pools was mark tinkler, quality in the tackle, brilliant driving runs, chipped in with goals too.

Danny wilson let him go when the time was right and showed no sentiment, he wasn't kept any longer than he should have been.

His memory at pools was not deminished, he rarely if ever abused for being past it.

He is pretty much held in high regard by every single pools fan around.

Thats all i'll say.

Neil Webb was a tremendous player once.. but couldn't even shine for Grimsby in a pre season friendly against Pools.... it happens to all players.
The trick is knowing when they are over that peak and release them like we did with Tinkler.
That hasn't happened with Ritchie for some reason... he should look to move his career on with coaching or whatever - but if he starts tomorrow we are starting with 10 men yet again.

I would love to see us be on top in a couple of games and Humphreys be in a position to score one or two decent goals to end this season on a high. Very good player for us and has worked well especially considering he has never really looked like someone that doesn't care, its just a shame that if he leaves or steps down this year quite a few will forget he was once a decent player.

The goal celebration on 57s seconds shows how much he loves this club, the sooner he goes into coaching staff the better.

I wasn't having a go at you Grave, it was a general point I agree with the most of the comments about him currently being selected. It just a shame he's been allowed to become a figure who is regularly took the piss out of, he doesn't deserve that at all. It’s not his fault he’s getting picked is it?

He's still a good footballer, just probably not at this level. Micky Barron could have played another couple of years for Bury or someone in the fourth division, but didn't want to leave the club. Wilson didn't think he was up to League One and didn't pick him, meaning he never had to go through this.

I concur totally. its down to the manager that RH has turned from a player of 'legend' status to a ridiculed player. its sad to see. my digs are very much aimed at the manager.

He's actually had a few good games this season in the middle of the park before Gamble signed, he should be cover for Gamble in the squad as a holding midfielder.

What the fook is Turner thinking playing him on the left wing? I'd love to ask him what he thinks he'll contribute from that position.

Bloody hell, You see that clip and you realise what a great player he has been .

Its just not right that he will be remembered by many for the last couple of seasons. He should have left on a high.
